Chystylin Pavlo Leonidovych (1929–1986) was a prominent Crimean artist, a master of watercolor painting, graphic arts, and design, who left a significant mark on the cultural history of the region. His works are distinguished by a delicate sensitivity to nature, architecture, and the history of Crimea, as well as a profound philosophical approach to art. Chystylin was among the pioneers of industrial design in Crimea and an innovator in museum exhibitions and poster graphics. Yet, his greatest passion remained intimate watercolor painting, in which he achieved exceptional mastery.
